International Missions

If the Great Commission in Matthew 28 helps us to understand our call to the task of missions then the words of Jesus in Acts chapter one verse seven is one of the most helpful texts in helping us "flesh out" the Great Commission practically: "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth."

New Village Church is passionate about international missions! We have roughly seven missionary couples on four different continents. One of the best ways to get a glimpse of what God is doing in the world, and to enlarge your faith in, and understanding of God is to develop relationships with those who serve on the international mission fields - the front lines of what God is doing.

For security reasons we do not include their information here, but if you are a member of New Village we encourage you to contact the missions committee and learn more about promoting the grandeur of God through international missions. The value we place on missions is emphasized weekly as we pray for the missionaries we support each Wednesday night at prayer meeting, and annually at our fall missions conference.

In the meantime, there are numerous resources we recommend on the topic of international missions, particularly the "unreached people of the day" link on the missions page, which will help enlarge your view of God.
